Patty's Cafe

The menu here is different from any breakfast place we have been. We got one of the scrambles, and it was delicious! The service was very good as well. Highly recommend.

The food is delicious, good portions, and staff is nice. I came here with some friends for the first time, and I ordered the Gyro plate and some fries on the side. The plate came with a greek side salad that was fresh and delicious, the meat was tender and flavorful, the tzatziki sauce was yummy, and the bread and rice were great. The fries were also nicely salted and crispy. The dishes my friends ordered also looked really good, and they said they loved their food as well. They have an array of dishes from greek, mexican, and american diner food,0and honestly everything looks good, so I don't think you could go wrong with any of the food. Overall great place to eat and I will definitely be coming back to try more

Hidden gem! Very casual diner atmosphere, inviting and plenty of seating. Shirley was our (gorgeous) waitress, she was quick to get our drink order, gave us time to review the menu wirh a couple check ins, was great with refills (never an empty class of coffee cup), was very friendly and helpful. Once our orders were in, the food came out quickly-very respectful of your time for breakfast. The waffle was not only beautifully browned, crisp and fluffy, but had a really good flavor -you could just eat it with butter no syrup. Sausage patties were good size and well cooked, not greasy. The Egg Skillet -with chopped bacon, diced green chiles & onions, and jack cheese, it so hits the spot as this all sits atop slicely sliced & well seasoned potatoes, so very yummy!

Hole in the wall place. Hidden gem. Great seafood omelette, excellent portions. Reasonable prices. Sunday morning around 9. No wait. Plenty of seats. Lots of options for side- hash browns, fruit or Mexican style.

A great Neighborhood Restaurant in La Mesa area. The food is great; the service is prompt, friendly, and efficient. Our waiter, Alberto, was very accommodating and patient with our orders. There's plenty of parking. We were there at 10 am which was perfect...before the lunch crowd.

Great little diner in strip mall. Fast friendly service on a Monday morning 10 minutes after they open. A couple sitting outside and 6 locals inside when I arrived. Ordered simple breakfast. Coffee was outstanding. They use a Farmers brew that is high end not what ends up in stores. Over easy eggs were perfect. 4 slices of bacon instead of the usual 3 in other restaurants. Hash browns cooked fresh. Sour dough bread toasted and buttered spot on. Will go back to try options on the expanded menu.
